Leather Shotgun Slip Case Waxed Brown

This all leather shotgun slip case is suitable for 28 inch to 32 inch barrel shotguns. The internal overall length is 51.5 inches, please check the overall dimension of your shotgun before purchase if you are unsure.
This bag features all brass fittings, a YKK full length zip and thick 3mm leather straps.
The muzzle end of the case is reinforced with extra thick leather and a thick strap.
The stitching is matching brown rot proof nylon. The leather shoulder strap is 1.5 inches wide and 3mm thick and is fully adjustable.
Suitable for over and under and side by side shotguns while the case is lined with fleece lining.
Finally, the oval on the top flap is left blank allowing for initialling which we are able to stamp two initials on this oval leather piece.
These leather shotgun slips are manufactured from natural leathers and may come with a slight shine to the leather which is formed during the manufacturing process.

How are these leather shotgun slips made?

All our leather shotgun slips have a complex manufacture process. Raw materials are sourced, treated and then cut to size by hand and then stitched together using machinery for the bulk of the process. Our shotgun slips are made to last for many years, to do this we use the toughest materials. All the areas which will take most the weight of the shotguns will be double stitched and in some cases the area will also be studded. We take pride in our outstanding workman ship and attention to detail.

What is this leather shotgun slip made from?

This leather shotgun slip is made from a distressed dark brown leather. The distressed treatment of the leather gives an aged feel and look to the leather, almost waxed. It has a supple feel to it, very soft to the touch without compromising the quality of the leather. All the straps are made from pure leather to match the shotgun slip trim. The stitching is a nylon thread which is waterproof and rot-proof and will match the leather trim. In stock have a wide range of different leathers for each of our shotgun slips, each giving a very different finish. We use only the toughest and most durable of materials on our products. All our fittings are brass and the inner lining of our gun slips is thick fleece.

Our leather shotgun slips are made to suit all shooters. We have many different types of leather finishes from traditional old looking gun slips to the shinier looking off the shelf shotgun slip. The only answer to this question would be suitable for all, depending on personal preference of leather finish!

Let down by this attention to detail!

Wanted to give this item 5 stars as the overall product was of good build quality with what looks to be high quality leather and overall finishing, however their was some damage to the fleece lining along the line of the stitching. Damage was obvious and for the price paid I personally would have expected better, and for it to have been picked up during quality control. Unfortunately the time it would take to return this item outweighed my need to actually return the item so unfortunately I will make do with something that will only be seen (damaged area) when opening to remove or replace the firearm.

Personalised Initial Stamping

The cost for our initialing is £25.00.

For the shooters who are looking for a more personal touch to their shotgun slip, we are able to offer engraving and personal initialing on a large range of our products. For our initialing we use a heated hydraulic press and are able to stamp up to 20 initials on the top flap of our shotgun slips and cartridge bags.

Please check the initials are correct as we personalise exactly what is entered online. For all items which have been stamped with personalised initials we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item is faulty upon delivery.
